My weaving studio, located in the Historic Brighton District of Zanesville, Ohio, is open for small tours and workshops, as well as classes. The studio includes seven looms, five of which are large and have multiple harnesses to accommodate most students' weaving interests. Handwoven items are offered for purchase or barter. Each hand woven item has been created using healing energies and includes a "Healing Crystal" which has been "programmed" to assist in bringing light, harmony and joy into your home.

I have been a fiber artist for over 30 years, specializing in spinning fibers into yarns. I have a number of drop spindles and seven spinning wheels, which include single and double treadle wheels, charkas, and walking wheels. These are used for classes, workshops and demonstrations. I offer a variety of prepared spinning fibers, knitting and specialty yarns.

My personal interest in Reiki was sparked by several sessions with friends and relatives many years ago when I experienced the power of energy work. As a practicing Reiki Master I incorporate the use of crystals, gems, stones, sound and flower essences to enhance the Reiki experience.

Reiki is roughly translated as "Energy from the Creative Source" or "Universal Life Energy." An ancient healing art, it was rediscovered in late nineteenth century and is akin to Healing Touch. Today it is used by hospitals that offer complimentary services such as Touch for Health, Cranial Sacral Therapy, and acupuncture. Training is received in order to learn how to direct energies, which facilitate self-healing - the natural function of the human body. This powerful healing energy is simply transmitted by placing the hands on or near the body. It can effect deep relaxation, promote electrical energy balancing in the body, reduce pain, as well as assist in disease prevention. Reiki can also be used on animals and plants as well as to energize food, objects and places.
